What is it like being a Parent?
One of my good friends asked me this question the other day.... What is it like being a parent? At the time I couldn't think of what to say because I've never really thought of what it is like. I just am a parent. The question stayed with me all week as I went about my role as a parent to my crazy toddlers. Being a parent is everything. You literally have all the emotions/feelings going through you at different times (sometimes very rapidly, like when your toddler is being sweet hugging you and then spontaneously bites you). It can be aggravating as anything when your children won't go to bed and all you want to do is drink some wine and watch Netflix. Or you want to eat that bowl of ice cream you've been dreaming about all day but you know those little food thieves will either steal it from you or cry if you don't share.
